*Key Collaboration Point:* The Gate Agent cannot start boarding until the Cabin Crew confirms the cabin is ready. The Captain cannot ask for pushback clearance until the Ground Crew confirms all loading is complete and all ground equipment is clear of the aircraft. Everyone must communicate. Phase 2: In-Flight Operations (In the Air) Pushback & Taxi: The aircraft is pushed back from the gate by a tug. The pilots request permission from Air Traffic Control to taxi to the runway. Team: Pilots, Ground Crew, and Air Traffic Control (Ground Control). Function: ATC provides a safe path from the gate to the runway, ensuring no collisions with other aircraft on the ground.

Phase 2: In-Flight Operations (In the Air) Pushback & Taxi: The aircraft is pushed back from the gate by a tug. The pilots request permission from Air Traffic Control to taxi to the runway. Team: Pilots, Ground Crew, and Air Traffic Control (Ground Control). Function: ATC provides a safe path from the gate to the runway, ensuring no collisions with other aircraft on the ground. Take-off & Climb: At the runway, the pilots communicate with a different ATC controller. Team: Pilots and Air Traffic Control (Tower Control). Function: Tower Control gives the final clearance for take-off. Once airborne, they "hand over" the aircraft to the next controller (Approach/Departure Control). Cruise: This is the main part of the flight. Team: Pilots, Cabin Crew, and Air Traffic Control (En-route Control). Function: Pilots: Monitor the aircraft's systems using the autopilot and communicate with a series of ATC controllers on the ground as they fly through different sectors of airspace. Cabin Crew: Ensure passenger safety and comfort. They are the first responders in case of a medical issue or other in-flight incident. ATC: Maintain safe separation between all aircraft in the sky. They are the "eyes in the sky" for the pilots. Phase 3: Post-Flight Operations (Arrival)

The process essentially reverses. Approach & Landing: As the aircraft nears Kumasi, ATC (Approach Control) guides it into the landing sequence. Team: Pilots and Air Traffic Control (Approach and Tower Control). Function: ATC provides a safe path and sequence for landing, and Tower Control gives the final clearance to land. Taxi & Parking: After landing, Ground Control at KMA guides the aircraft to its parking stand where ground marshals provide the final guidance. Team: Pilots, ATC (Ground Control), and Ground Marshals. Disembarking & Baggage Reclaim: Team: Ground Crew, Passenger Service Agents. Function: The Ground Crew connects the jet bridge or stairs. They offload the baggage from the aircraft's hold and send it to the baggage reclaim hall, where Ama picks up her suitcase. Aircraft Turnaround: The entire cycle of maintenance checks, cleaning, refueling, and catering begins again for the aircraft's next flight, perhaps back to Accra.

The "Orchestra Conductor": Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) At a major airport like KIA, the AOCC is the central hub that monitors and coordinates everything. They track flight schedules, gate availability, security issues, and resource allocation to ensure the entire airport runs smoothly. They are the master collaborators.
