Character Traits

  • Qualities that describe how a character thinks, feels, or acts.
  • Examples: kind, brave, greedy

Making Inferences

  • Using clues from the story combined with what we already know to figure out something not directly stated.
  • Example: If a boy shares his lunch, we can infer he is kind.

 

2️⃣ High-Frequency Words

  • Words: into, until
  • Example sentences:
    • The boy went into the house.
    • Wait until I come.

 

3️⃣ Story Reading

  • Teacher reads aloud a short story while learners follow in their textbooks.
  • Comprehension questions to guide understanding:
    • Who is the main character?
    • What happened?
    • What can we say about the character?
