  • Writing is a way to express personal thoughts and feelings.
  • Examples:

  • Encourage learners to write simple sentences about their own likes and dislikes.

  • Teacher revises common patterns:
    • Consonant blends: street (str)
    • Digraphs: phone (ph)
    • Long vowels: time (i-e)
    • Vowel teams: boat (oa)
  • Discuss how these patterns affect pronunciation and spelling.
