Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
The teacher asks students to clap while counting in twos: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Then they try fives and tens.
B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes
The teacher explains that skip counting means counting by jumping over numbers in equal steps.
Examples:
By 2s → 2, 4, 6, 8, 10… 100
By 5s → 5, 10, 15, 20… 100
By 10s → 10, 20, 30, 40… 100
The teacher demonstrates with counters: group counters into 5s and count them quickly. The teacher also uses money examples, showing that two L$5 notes make L$10, and continuing.

Evaluation Method (Expanded):
Exit slip/quiz: Write the next three numbers in the sequence 10, 20, 30, __, __, __. Count by 2s from 12 to 20. Count by 5s from 25 to 40.
Teacher will collect slips and provide oral feedback.
Assignment (Expanded):
Write the sequence of numbers from 0 to 100 counting by 5s in your notebook.
