Lesson Development – ABC Model

A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
The teacher asks learners to mention good behaviors they practice at home.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)

Time: 25–30 minutes

Teacher’s Explanation & Activities:
The teacher introduces the human qualities of Prophet Mohammed s.a.s in simple, age-appropriate language:

  • List and explain his qualities: honesty, gentleness, humility, obedience, and truthfulness.
  • Narrate stories showing each quality:
    • Honesty: Prophet Mohammed was honest in business and always told the truth.
    • Gentleness: He treated children kindly and never hurt anyone.
    • Humility: He did not boast about his status or wealth.
    • Obedience: He followed Allah’s instructions carefully.
    • Truthfulness: He spoke the truth even when it was difficult.
  • Introduce short sayings (Hadiths) that encourage good behavior, e.g., “The best among you is the one who is kind to others.”
  • Teacher emphasizes that learners can practice these qualities at home, in school, and in the community.

Practical Activity:

  • Learners role-play scenarios demonstrating honesty, gentleness, and obedience.
  • Learners repeat short Hadiths after the teacher to remember key lessons.
  • Learners share personal examples of when they acted kindly, honestly, or obediently at home or school.
