Lesson Development – ABC Model

A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
The teacher reviews with quick questions on the Prophet’s parents, qualities, and calling.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)

Time: 25–30 minutes

Teacher’s Explanation & Activities:
The teacher guides learners in reviewing all previous sub-topics:

  • Recall the Prophet’s birth in Mecca and his parents Amina and Abdullah.
  • Discuss his childhood upbringing: cared for by his grandfather and uncle, showing honesty, gentleness, and humility.
  • Recall the Prophet’s calling through Angel Jibreel, and his responsibility to teach people about Allah.
  • Highlight the Prophet’s qualities: honesty, humility, obedience, gentleness, and truthfulness.
  • Teacher emphasizes that these lessons guide daily life, helping children be good at home, school, and in the community.

Practical Activities:

  • Role-plays demonstrating honesty, gentleness, and obedience.
  • Storytelling: learners retell parts of the Prophet’s life to peers.
  • Drawing: learners draw the scene of the Prophet’s birth in Mecca.
  • Reciting Hadiths: learners practice short Hadiths about good behavior.
