Lesson Development – ABC Model

A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Teacher asks learners to mention things they are thankful for today.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)

Time: 25–30 minutes

Teacher’s Explanation & Activities:
The teacher explains worship with thanksgiving as showing gratitude to God for all blessings, including:

  • Family and friends
  • Food and shelter
  • Health and life
  • Daily experiences and guidance from God

The teacher demonstrates:

  • Saying a prayer of thanks aloud
  • Singing a short thanksgiving song
  • Drawing a picture of things learners are thankful for

Practical activity: Learners are guided to express gratitude in three ways:

  1. Prayer: Thanking God silently or aloud
  2. Song: Singing a song of praise and thanks
  3. Art: Drawing pictures of blessings they are grateful for
