Lesson Structure Using PEARL Model

  1. P – Probe (5–10 min)

Purpose: Activate prior knowledge and spark curiosity.

Teacher’s Actions:

  • Ask students:
    • “How do you know when you’re making the right decision?”
    • “Have you ever felt guided or inspired in a moment of uncertainty?”
  • Read aloud the opening stanza:
    “In the gentle whispers of the morning breeze,
    In the rustling leaves of ancient trees,
    Divine guidance beckons, soft and clear,
    A compass guiding, dispelling every fear.”
  • Encourage predictions about how the poem explores guidance, faith, and trust.

Student Activity:

Purpose: Engage actively with the text.
