Disadvantages of Economic Integration:

  • Loss of sovereignty and control over national policies.
  • Unequal distribution of benefits; some countries may be disadvantaged.
  • Increased competition that can harm smaller or less developed industries.

  • Challenges in harmonizing policies and regulations.
