Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Ask learners to recall promises they have made or kept to friends or family. Show images of Noah’s Ark and Abraham’s journey. Discuss briefly how God keeps His promises.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes
Teacher’s Explanation & Activities:
The teacher explains the meaning of God’s promises as His commitment to protect, guide, love, and care for humanity. The teacher narrates stories from the Bible:

  • Noah: God promised to save Noah and his family from the flood. The rainbow was a sign of God’s promise.
  • Abraham: God promised Abraham many descendants, land, and blessings. Highlight how God fulfilled these promises.
  • Other examples: God providing food, protection, and guidance to His people in different situations.

Teacher demonstrates through role-play how God keeps His promises: learners act out Noah building the ark, receiving God’s promise of protection.

Practical Activity: Learners are encouraged to recall times when they experienced promises being kept and relate it to God’s faithfulness.
