Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Ask learners: “Can you share one rule at home or school that helps you be kind or honest?” Connect to teachings of Paul and New Testament guidance.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes

Content/Explanation:

  • Begin by explaining the teachings of Paul in simple terms, such as:
    • Armor of God: Being strong in faith and using God’s guidance to make good choices.
    • Kindness: Treating others with love and respect.
    • Honesty: Telling the truth and being trustworthy.
    • Faith: Believing in God and following His ways.
  • Discuss simple applications of these teachings in daily life: helping a friend, telling the truth, showing respect to elders, praying, or being brave in doing right.
  • Use storytelling to narrate short parables from the New Testament that demonstrate these moral lessons. Encourage learners to identify the lesson from each story.
  • Conduct a class discussion: ask learners, “How can we be like Jesus and Paul today?” and let learners give examples from their home, school, or community.
  • Organize a role-play activity: learners act out scenarios showing honesty, kindness, or forgiveness, helping them understand and internalize the lessons.
  • Provide a drawing or writing activity: learners illustrate or write about one way they will follow Jesus’ teaching this week, applying lessons from Paul and other New Testament writers.

Learners’ Activities (Expanded):

  • Listen attentively to short parables and identify key moral lessons.
  • Participate actively in class discussion, sharing ideas and examples.
  • Engage in role-play, demonstrating honesty, kindness, or forgiveness.
  • Draw or write one way they will follow Jesus’ teachings in daily life.

Assessment Checks:

  • Observe role-play to check understanding of moral lessons and correct application.
  • Review learners’ drawings or writing for comprehension and practical application of lessons.
  • Ask reflective questions: “Which lesson from Paul or Jesus will you remember this week?”

  • Encourage learners to act kindly, honestly, and faithfully at home, school, and in their community.
