Teacher’s Explanation & Activities:
The teacher explains that humans show commitment to God through prayer, worship, and obedience. These are ways to honor God and demonstrate love and trust in Him. Examples include:

  • Praying daily: thanking God, asking for guidance, or praying for others.
  • Attending church or religious gatherings regularly.
  • Helping others: sharing, caring for the needy, showing kindness.
  • Obedience to God’s commandments: following instructions from the Bible, avoiding wrong actions.

The teacher uses Bible stories to illustrate these commitments:

  • Daniel praying regularly despite challenges.
  • Jesus obeying God’s will even in difficult times.

Practical Activity: Role-play scenarios showing daily acts of commitment to God, such as: saying prayers before meals, helping a friend, or sharing a toy.

Learners’ Activities (Expanded):

  • Share personal examples of how they pray or show obedience.
  • Participate in role-plays demonstrating commitment to God.
  • Work in pairs to identify ways they can keep promises to God in school or at home.
  • Repeat key phrases: “I commit to God by praying, worshiping, and obeying.”

Assessment Checks:
