Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Review previous class by asking learners to share one act of obedience or worship they did since the last lesson.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes
Teacher’s Explanation & Activities:
The teacher explains that keeping promises or commitments to God requires regular practice and consistency. Examples include:

  • Attending worship regularly: going to church or participating in family prayers.
  • Obeying God’s instructions daily: being truthful, kind, and helpful.
  • Helping others consistently: sharing, assisting friends, and caring for family members.

The teacher demonstrates through role-play scenarios the difference between consistent and inconsistent actions:

  • A child who prays daily vs. one who prays only occasionally.
  • Helping a sibling every day vs. helping once in a while.

Practical Activity: Learners act out examples of daily commitments and reflect on how consistent actions please God.

Learners’ Activities (Expanded):

  • Role-play consistent worship and obedience at home or school.
  • Share personal experiences of consistent good behavior in small groups.
  • Identify and list actions that demonstrate consistency in following God’s instructions.
  • Repeat key phrases: “I show love to God by being consistent in prayer, worship, and helping others.”

Assessment Checks:

  • Ask learners to give two examples of consistent commitments to God.
  • Observe learners’ engagement in role-plays.
  • Discuss why some actions show obedience and others do not.

Notes (Expanded & Detailed):

  • Emphasize that consistency reflects love, respect, and trust in God.
  • Reinforce that forming daily habits of worship and obedience strengthens character.
  • Encourage learners to practice consistent commitments both at home and in school.

Assignment (For Learners):

  • Draw or write a short plan showing one action they will do consistently for God this week.
  • Practice saying a daily prayer or helping a family member, then share their experience next class.
  • Memorize: “Consistency in worship and obedience shows my love for God.”

C – Consolidation (Conclusion & Assessment)
Time: 5–10 minutes
