A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Ask learners to name places they have visited recently and how they traveled there; discuss why they traveled

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes

Content focus:

  • Definition: Transportation is the movement of people, animals, or goods from one place to another.
  • Reasons why people travel:
    • Personal: Visiting family or friends, attending celebrations.
    • Social: Going to school, attending community events, participating in sports or cultural activities.
    • Economic: Trade, transporting goods, going to work, medical visits.
    • Leisure: Traveling for enjoyment, holidays, or sightseeing.
  • Demonstration: Use role-play to show traveling by bus, boat, or airplane. Use pictures, charts, or mini props to illustrate different modes of transport.
