Define transportation as the movement of people, goods, and services from one place to another. Explain the three main types: land, sea, and air transportation. Describe traditional transport methods such as canoes, rafts, and hammocks, highlighting their cultural significance, cost-effectiveness, and limitations in speed and safety. Describe modern transport methods such as buses, cars, ships, and airplanes, emphasizing their efficiency, speed, and safety features, while noting higher costs and infrastructure requirements. Discuss advantages (e.g., convenience, speed) and disadvantages (e.g., cost, environmental impact) of each type. Demonstrate with pictures, maps, and short role-play scenarios.
