Balls, cones, charts showing game rules, mats

Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Discussion: Ask learners to recall First Aid skills learned; light warm-up with stretching

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)

Time: 25–30 minutes

Teacher Input (Expanded & Detailed):

  1. Classroom Game – Who’s Leading?
  • Objective: Enhance attention, following instructions, and leadership skills
  • Rules: One student leads movements; others follow exactly
  • Safety: Ensure adequate space, avoid collisions, and maintain calm
  1. Locomotor Game – Steal the Bacon
  • Objective: Practice speed, agility, and strategy
  • Rules: Divide students into two teams; each team has a number; teacher calls a number and the corresponding players try to “steal the bacon” (object) and return safely
  • Safety: Emphasize controlled running, no pushing or shoving
  1. Manipulative Game – Boundary Ball
  • Objective: Improve throwing, catching, and teamwork
  • Rules: Students throw a ball to teammates within a boundary; opponents try to intercept
  • Safety: Demonstrate safe throwing techniques and boundaries clearly
  1. Integration with First Aid and Safety Knowledge
  • Teacher reminds learners to consider personal and peer safety while playing
  • Discuss strategies for avoiding collisions, managing minor injuries, and teamwork

Learners’ Activities (Expanded & Detailed):

  • Rotate through three game stations in small groups
  • Apply motor skills (running, catching, throwing, dodging)
  • Practice teamwork, communication, and strategy
  • Observe peers and provide constructive feedback
  • Reflect after each station on:
    • Which safety rules were followed
    • How teamwork improved performance
    • How they applied knowledge from previous lessons

Assessment Checks (Expanded & Detailed):

  • Observation: Teacher monitors:
    • Correct application of safety rules
    • Teamwork and cooperation
    • Adherence to game rules
  • Oral Questions:
    • “Which game required the most teamwork?”
    • “How did you ensure safety while playing?”
    • “What strategy helped your team succeed?”
  • Peer Feedback: Students explain one positive action of a teammate

Notes (Expanded & Detailed):

  • Games consolidate motor skills, teamwork, and safety awareness

  • Teacher ensures all activities are conducted safely and fairly, correcting improper techniques immediately

C – Consolidation (Conclusion & Assessment)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Summary: Recap First Aid skills, safety rules, and lessons learned through games
Evaluation Method (Expanded)
Exit slip/quiz: Students write one skill or safety rule applied during games
Teacher will collect slips and provide oral feedback
Assignment (Expanded): Practice First Aid safety at home and share experience in next class
Follow-up Activity: Plan a mini “First Aid and Safety Day” incorporating learned skills
