Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Discussion: Ask learners why behaving positively and helping peers is important in games. Light warm-up exercises

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes
Sub-topics: Responsibility, Best Effort, Compassion, Initiative, Leadership, Constructive Competition

Skills Developed:

  • Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with peers to achieve a common goal
  • Role-taking: Understanding and performing different roles such as leader, supporter, or referee

  • Relay Races: Organize learners into teams and assign rotating leadership roles; encourage learners to help teammates complete tasks
  • Small-sided Games: Play mini-games where learners take turns leading, supporting, and encouraging others
  • Peer Recognition: Highlight and praise learners who demonstrate responsibility, best effort, compassion, initiative, or fair play
  • Reflective Discussion: After activities, ask learners: “Which value did you show today and how did it help your team?”
