Prophet Muhammad was born in the city of Mecca in the year 570 AD. He belonged to the respected Quraysh tribe.
  • Orphaned Early:
He lost his father before birth and his mother when he was very young, so he was raised by his grandfather and later by his uncle.
  • Nickname:
Because of his honesty and trustworthy character, people called him Al-Amin, meaning “The Trustworthy.”
  • Importance of Trustworthiness:
This reputation was important because it prepared people to listen to him when he later became a prophet.
