Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter) Time: 5–10 minutes
Learners’ Activities (Expanded): Students recall key points from previous lessons through a quick Q&A session.
Assessment Checks: Teacher asks brief questions to assess readiness for review.
Notes (Expanded & Detailed): Encourage students to connect prior knowledge to real-life applications.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes
Learners’ Activities (Expanded): Learners engage in group discussions on reproductive health, nutrition, and safe behaviors. Students perform dramatizations contrasting risky behaviors versus healthy choices, highlighting consequences and prevention strategies. Role-plays include scenarios on pregnancy prevention, abstinence, and balanced nutrition. Learners participate in practical demonstrations, such as preparing sample balanced meals using food models or charts to reinforce nutrient groups and healthy choices.

Assessment Checks: Teacher observes learners during role plays, dramatizations, and practical demonstrations. Students are asked to explain one healthy choice and one risky behavior, and to describe how nutrients support health, especially in adolescence. Participation and comprehension are noted.

Notes (Expanded & Detailed): Consolidation activities integrate previous lessons on puberty, contraception, nutrition, and relationships. Practical demonstrations and peer feedback reinforce learning, encourage collaboration, and promote understanding of real-life applications of healthy choices.

C – Consolidation (Conclusion & Assessment) Time: 5–10 minutes
Summary: Students summarize lessons learned, discuss practical applications, and reflect on healthy behavior choices.
Evaluation Method (Expanded):
Exit slip/quiz: Students write one lesson from each previous week and one action they will take to apply the knowledge. Teacher reviews and provides feedback.
Assignment (Expanded): Students develop a personal health plan incorporating nutrition, reproductive health, and safe behaviors.
Follow-up Activity: Monitor personal habits and community health practices, and report observations in class.
Differentiation / Inclusive Strategies: Visual aids, guided group discussions, and peer support for students with learning difficulties.
