Lesson Development – ABC Model

A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Teacher asks: “How can you show your parents that you love and respect them?” Students answer. Teacher links answers to showing personal commitment to God.

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)

Time: 25–30 minutes

  • Personal commitment means being faithful, loyal, and dedicated to God and His commands.
  • It involves more than words—it shows in our daily actions and choices.

  1. Scripture Examples

Bible Examples:

  • Mary’s obedience to God when she accepted His plan (Luke 1:38).
  • Paul’s dedication in spreading the gospel despite hardships (Acts 20:24).

Quran Examples:

  • Prophet Muhammad’s patience, kindness, and dedication to Allah’s service throughout his life.

  • Students role-play scenarios demonstrating honesty at school, respecting parents, helping classmates, and praying.
  • Followed by a class discussion:
    “How can I show commitment at home, in school, and in my community?”
