Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Teacher shows pictures of a baby, a seed growing into a tree, and a chick hatching. Students observe that things develop step by step.
B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes
Topic: Development in Creation
Definition:
Development means gradual growth or progress. It is the process by which something becomes more advanced or complete over time.
Application to Creation:
Bible – Genesis 1:
This shows development: from simple things (light) to more complex (humans).
Quran – Various Verses:
These verses show gradual creation and continuous development of life.
Creation is not finished — it is ongoing:
All these are signs of God’s continuous work in development.
C – Consolidation (Conclusion & Assessment)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Summary: Creation developed in stages, and it continues to develop today.
Evaluation Method (Expanded): Exit slip/quiz: Draw or write two stages of creation.
Assignment (Expanded): Write three ways you can see creation developing in your community.
