Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Teacher asks: “If someone gives you a gift, what do you do?” Students respond: say thank you, take care of the gift. Teacher links this to man’s duty to God.
B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)
Time: 25–30 minutes
Topic: Man’s Responsibility to God
Definition:
Man’s responsibility to God means the duties or actions that human beings are expected to do because God created and cares for them.
Why?
Since God created man, man must:
Bible Example:
They were responsible for tending the garden and obeying God’s instructions.
Quran Example:
“I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me.”
→ This shows that worship is a central purpose of man's creation.
C – Consolidation (Conclusion & Assessment)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Summary: Man was created by God and must worship, obey, and thank Him.
Evaluation Method (Expanded): Exit slip/quiz: Write one way you can show gratitude to God this week.
Assignment (Expanded): Write a short paragraph about how you will show responsibility to God at home and school.
Follow-up Activity: Share examples in the next class.
