A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–10 minutes

B – Building Knowledge (Main Lesson Body)

Time: 25–30 minutes

Topic: Creation

  1. Full Definition

Creation means the act of bringing something into existence. In religion, creation refers to God or Allah making the universe, the earth, the sky, water, plants, animals, and human beings. It shows how everything began according to religious beliefs.

  1. Scriptural Creation Stories
  2. Bible (Christianity):
In the book of Genesis, the Bible says that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day.
  • Day 1: Light
  • Day 2: Sky and water
  • Day 3: Land and plants
  • Day 4: Sun, moon, and stars
  • Day 5: Birds and fish
  • Day 6: Animals and human beings
  • Day 7: God rested
  1. Qur’an (Islam):
The Qur’an teaches that Allah created the heavens and the earth, the stars, sun, moon, mountains, rivers, animals, and human beings.
  • Allah created everything in a perfect and orderly way.
  • The Qur’an emphasizes that Allah is the sole Creator, and everything belongs to Him.
  1. Purpose of Creation

God or Allah created the world to:

  • Give life to all living things
  • Show His power and greatness
  • Create a place for people to live
  • Teach human beings to care for the earth
  • Encourage people to worship, obey, and love Him
  • Help people live in peace and harmony
  1. Examples
  • Christians pray to God the Creator, thanking Him for life, food, nature, and family.
  • Muslims praise Allah the Creator during prayers and recitations, and show gratitude for His creations.
  1. Practical Activity

Learners dramatize the seven days of creation by acting out different parts of the story.

  • Some students act as light, others as trees or animals, and others as people.
  • The teacher guides the class in showing how creation happened in order, using short scenes or role-plays.
  1. Learners’ Activities (Expanded)
  • Learners discuss in pairs or groups what they have learned about how the world began.
  • They explain why it is important to take care of nature and respect life.
  • Learners draw pictures showing one part of creation, such as the sky, animals, or people.
  • They share how creation stories help people understand their role as caretakers of the earth.
  • Students write short sentences or a paragraph on what creation means to them.
  1. Assessment Checks

The teacher asks questions to check understanding:

  1. What does the word "creation" mean?
  2. Name two things that God or Allah created.
  3. Why did God or Allah create human beings?
  4. Which holy book tells the story of creation in Christianity?
  5. How do creation stories teach us to take care of the earth?
  6. Notes (Expanded and Detailed)
  • Creation is the religious belief that everything in the world was made by God (in Christianity) or Allah (in Islam).
  • Both the Bible and the Qur’an teach that creation was done in a purposeful and orderly way.
  • Human beings are seen as special because they were made in God’s image (in Christianity) or as Allah’s servants (in Islam).
  • These stories remind people to respect nature, live good lives, and worship their Creator.
  • Creation stories also explain the importance of obedience, peace, and caring for others and the environment.

C – Consolidation (Conclusion & Assessment)
Time: 5–10 minutes
Summary: Creation means bringing things into existence. Both Bible and Qur’an show that God/Allah created the world. The purpose of creation is to give life, order, and purpose.

Evaluation Method (Expanded):
Exit slip/quiz: Students write one reason why God created man and one thing created on the first day. Teacher will collect slips and provide oral feedback.

Assignment (Expanded): Learners draw and label one scene from creation (e.g., animals, sun, man).

Follow-up Activity: Learners tell their parents at home about one thing they learned about creation.

Differentiation / Inclusive Strategies
Teacher uses storytelling for slow learners, role-play for active learners, and drawing for artistic learners.
