Lesson Development – ABC Model
A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)

B – BUILDING KNOWLEDGE (Main Lesson Body)

  • Prevents infections and diseases.
  • Promotes good appearance and self-confidence.
  • Encourages social acceptance and reduces absenteeism from school.
    • Explain daily hygiene practices:
  • Bathing regularly to remove dirt and sweat.
  • Handwashing with soap, especially before meals and after using the toilet.
  • Dental care: brushing teeth at least twice daily.
  • Grooming: combing hair, trimming nails, wearing clean clothes.
    • Relate examples to Liberia:
  • Common hygiene routines in schools, homes, and communities.
  • Local resources like soap distribution programs, community handwashing stations, and school health clubs.
