A – Anticipation (Warm-up / Starter)
Time: 5–7 minutes
Activity:
• Teacher asks: “Que faites-vous si vous êtes malade ? Où allez-vous ?”
• Pupils respond orally: Je vais à l’hôpital, Je vois le médecin…
• Teacher introduces today’s focus: health and sanitation vocabulary and giving advice using Il faut + infinitive.
Learners’ Role: Recall health-related words and respond orally.

Health: médecin (doctor), infirmier/infirmière (nurse), hôpital (hospital), patient, malade (sick), santé (health), médicament (medicine), ordonnance (prescription), fièvre (fever).
Sanitation: propre (clean), sale (dirty), hygiène (hygiene), se laver (to wash), mains (hands).
Structures: visiter / faire une visite, se rendre à l’hôpital.

Shows flashcards / realia (pictures of hospital, nurse, medicine, clean hands).
Pronounces each word, pupils repeat chorally, then individually.
Writes examples on board:
Je vais chez le médecin.
Le patient est malade.

Pupils form oral sentences using new vocabulary.
