Teacher’s Role:
• Explain the calling of the disciples, emphasizing Jesus’ invitation to ordinary people to follow Him, illustrating faith, obedience, and willingness to serve. Highlight the significance of leaving personal comfort to pursue moral and spiritual duties.
• Describe the commissioning of the disciples, where Jesus instructed them to spread His teachings. Emphasize responsibility, ethical leadership, teaching by example, and service to humanity.
• Discuss examples of Jesus healing the sick (blind, lepers, paralytics), showing compassion, mercy, and the importance of caring for the marginalized. Connect these miracles to moral and social responsibility.
• Highlight moral teachings from Jesus’ ministry, including honesty, kindness, forgiveness, respect, humility, and compassion. Provide Liberian examples, such as students helping peers, community volunteers caring for the sick, or reconciliation initiatives after disputes.
